THE DIGITAL BRAINERY COMES ALIVE ONLINEā¦
Inspired by the collective learning at The Brainery on Main Street, HQ is thrilled to announce the launch of the Digital Brainery! The Digital Brainery invites the Forest Family to connect year-round by sharing knowledge through online workshops, lectures, and more - taught by the Forest Family, hosted by HQ, in the digital realm!
Digital Brainery Workshops are crafted by the Forest Family, for the Forest Family, creating an accessible space to learn, grow, and connect from anywhere throughout the year. Please note, the ideal length of presentations and classes should be no longer than 15 minutes.
Examples of ideal submissions:
- Meditation / Sound Healing
- Yoga and Movement
- Lectures on personal growth, spirituality, sexuality, etc.
- Simple dance instruction
- Simple art classes (drawing) or crafting with common items found around the house
- Festival or life hacks
Activities that will not be accepted are as follows:
- Long presentations
- Political or religious activism
- Anything involving illegal activities or dangerous practices
TIMELINE
Submissions will be accepted for review starting Friday, November 22, 2024, through Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern. Follow-up materials may be requested after that time.
SELECTION PROCESS
Judged by: The Electric Forest Plug In Team
Judgment method: By reviewing & ranking proposals
Judged on:
- 50% Appropriateness for the Program
- 30% Quality of Workshop Description
- 20% Experience of instructor
AWARD
Workshop Opportunity: Winners will receive at least one (1) opportunity to offer their workshop during Electric Forest 2025.
RULES
- The submission process is private. HQ will share only the concept of the final workshops once they have been selected and confirmed
- Limit one workshop per form submission. If an applicant would like to propose more than one workshop, please submit the form multiple times
- The program will require Winners to either pre-record or present live.
- HQ reserves the right to edit or brand videos / content.
- Failure to complete paperwork may result in the forfeiture of award
